Introduce environmentally friendly types of passenger transport
There is very little reliable information about atmospheric air quality in Ukraine today. The organization and methodology of pollution monitoring do not meet EU standards. Hygiene standards are outdated. There is no system of informing the population about the quality of the atmospheric air, as well as a system of pollution control.
In the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine pledged to implement two European air quality directives. This will bring the Ukrainian monitoring system closer to EU standards.
Suspended "ТЧ10" and "ТЧ2.5" particles and a number of corrosive substances are not monitored: ozone, benzene, arsenic, mercury. There is no data on pollution throughout the country, only relevant information is available for measuring points.

Monitoring is carried out all time, up to a maximum of 4 times a day Hygienic standards are outdated, there is no system of informing the population about the quality of the atmospheric air, as well as a system of pollution control. In the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine pledged to implement two European air quality directives. This will bring the Ukrainian monitoring system closer to EU standards. Polluted air causes many premature deaths each year and reduces life expectancy overall. The Hydrometeorological Service measures air quality in 53 cities of Ukraine with 162 posts.

Every year, more than six million tons of harmful substances and carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere of our country. The main polluters are industrial enterprises. Increasing the number of cars on the roads is the second reason for the increase in harmful emissions. The Association Agreement also stipulates that the conditions of mutual access to the markets in the field of road, rail and inland waterway transport should be stipulated in separate agreements that may be concluded in the future, depending on the particular mode of transport.
